Self Deprecation Will Set You Free

So last night I had a dream that a “Good Friday” based street carnival was a cover for an arean football team owner’s attempts at using special chocolate chip cookies which had mind control capabilities.

At one time a city that neighbors my own was considered the methamphetamine capital of the world. A side effect of this is currently living in the tree across the street from my house… and two other trees. And it sings all night long, all day long, and all the other times that one could think up. I’m starting to wonder if someone is playing a trick on me and has just placed a tape deck up in a tree.

Come to think of it, thats a good idea, anyone have a tape deck I can borrow?

me: Maybe plums?
someone: mmmm maybe
me: Though I’m not a big plum fan.
me: They’re really tempting, but they taste kinda rotted to me.
someone: blech no thanks
me: Though that could be because I eat them off the ground.
someone: grosssss
someone: you dont really, do you??? That doesn’t sound like something you would do
me: No I don’t, and they don’t taste rotted.
me: I’m just not a fan.
someone: why you gotta mess with me
me: Because it’s easy.

Somehow the visage of the one-and-only Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio has appeared, 15 or so feet from the ground, on a traffic light pole which is down the street from my house. I’m thinking of auctioning off the traffic light on eBay.

The one thing that really sucks about waiting for inspiration is the waiting.
