Normally I tend to steer clear of any political commentary unless someone does something so obviously comedic that I can’t resist. Unfortunately today is a little different.
From [Ars Technica -> http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070118-8651.html] via [Fark.com -> http://www.fark.com] I was made aware of the new Lobbyist Reform Bill, section 220 in specific which appears to require any political blog with at least 500 readers to register with the government. There is text that appears to show that the blog would need to be receiving funds, though I doubt there are any blogs with 500 avid readers that isn’t taking in some kind of income for the efforts.
